A Note from RosyHello and happy Spring! This month at ARDC, we’ve had quite a few projects in the works: our first round of grantees is close to being finalized, as well as our survey for the 44net Assessment Project. We’ll share more information about each of these soon! In the meantime, here are some snippets about what we’ve been up to, and where you can find us in the next couple of months.
In-Progress Response to Code of Conduct surveyWe want ARDC to be a harassment-free zone that is inviting to everyone, so having a code of conduct is important to us. That’s why we asked our community for input, and so far, 53 of you have given us your thoughts. The response has been mostly positive—when asked if ARDC should adopt code of conduct, more than 75% of the respondents agreed: To see the complete report, go to the survey website or download this PDF. The survey will be open until April 30. If you haven’t already taken the survey, but would like to, please go to the ARDC Code of Conduct Community Survey. ARDC at Cubesat Developer's WorkshopARDC will be at the 2022 Cubesat Developer’s Workshop, which is being held in San Luis Obispo at the Performing Arts Center San Luis Obispo, 1 Grand Avenue, San Luis Obispo, CA from Tuesday, April 26 to Thursday, April 28. If you’ll be attending the conference in person, you can visit us at booth L14. John Hays, K7VE, and Chelsea Párraga, KF0FVJ, will be there in person. If you’ll be attending virtually, you can visit our online booth. Come See Us at HamventionWe’re bringing the whole staff (as well as a few board members and volunteers!) to Dayton for Hamvention, in Xenia, OH, May 20-22, 2022. Come visit us at booth 1302 in the Maxim Building, Building 1. Some ARDC board members and staff will be speaking at Hamvention as well. The forum schedule hasn’t been finalized yet, so to find out when and where we’ll be speaking, go to the Hamvention forum schedule page. We would love to talk to you, but if you’ve ever been to Hamvention, you know what a busy time it can be. To make sure that you get to talk to one of us while we are there, please contact us at comms@ardc.net so we can set up an appointment. Contact Us!We want to hear from you:
