The Montrose ARC (MARC) is an active amateur radio club in Western Colorado. It supports a variety of public service events, and its members participate in RACES, ARES, AUXCOM, SKYWARN, and American Red Cross activities.

The club will use their grant to replace a 40+-year-old camper trailer with a new 6X12 cargo trailer with this grant. The new trailer will improve the public image of amateur radio in the Montrose, CO area and will increase the club’s effectiveness in demonstrating amateur radio and supporting served agencies and events. The trailer will serve as the radio room for the Montrose County EOC and be available to adjoining counties for emergency management and SAR activities.
