The Great South Bay Amateur Radio Club (GSBARC) has been serving Long Island and Metro New York for over 50 years, providing public service, education, and outreach. Recognized as a STEM facility by the New York State Education Department, the club hosts regular meetings, open houses, and free educational programs while promoting amateur radio at community events.

With grant funding, GSBARC will upgrade its communications trailer by replacing the batteries, adding solar power, making key mechanical repairs, and upgrading the antennas. These improvements will enhance the trailer’s efficiency, supporting its dual role as both a mobile classroom and an emergency communications center.
