The Ham Radio Science Citizen Investigation (HamSCI) is a collaborative effort between the amateur radio and professional space science communities aimed at advancing scientific research through the use of amateur radio technology. Since 2018, the HamSCI Workshop has served as a key event where amateur radio operators, scientists, engineers, and students come together to share ideas, conduct research, and explore the intersection of space weather, radio propagation, and ionospheric science.

With support from ARDC, HamSCI will increase student participation in the 2025 workshop. Funds will help cover costs for hosting the workshop, as well as increase attendance by middle and high school, college, and graduate students, enabling them to engage with scientists and amateur radio operators.
